Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our company and our products. To make you feel safe and comfortable when visiting our website, we take the protection of your personal data and its confidential treatment very seriously. With this simple data protection declaration we would like to give you an overview of the collection and processing of your data in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. 1 What information do we collect from you?

1.1 Technical information

We collect the IP address of your computer, the request from the client (browser) to our web server as well as its response and the website from which you are visiting us. We also store the date and time of the request, information about the browser type and version of your operating system and the Internet service provider you are using.

1.2 Cookies

Cookies are files, often including unique identifiers, that are sent by web servers to web browsers, and which may then be sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. Cookies can be used by web servers to identify and track users as they navigate different pages on a website, and to identify users returning to a website. Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies. A persistent cookie consists of a text file sent by a web server to a web browser, which will be stored by the browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date (unless deleted by the user before the expiry date). A session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

1.3 3rd party cookies

We use tracking services and cookies, so-called third-party cookies, to process user profiles under a pseudonym. Our advertisers and service providers may send you cookies. They may use the information they obtain from your use of their cookies: to track your browser across multiple websites, to build a profile of your web surfing and/or to target advertisements which may be of particular interest to you. You can deactivate the storage and use of cookies in your browser settings.

2 How and for what are your data collected and processed?

We collect technical information automatically when you visit our website. Otherwise, we collect personal data only on the basis of your entries on our website (e.g. in the contact form) or through the use of cookies. We need this data to operate and administer the website, to detect misuse and to rectify faults. In addition, to improve our offer on the website and to create pseudonymous user profiles, which we use for advertising and market research purposes - provided you do not object to this.
